Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement by a paladin)

This once holy blade has developed a slight twist, and the golden light it once emitted has turned to a dim, sickly white. While attuned to this weapon, you gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill. If you are already proficient in it, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses Intimidation.

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and you have advantage on melee attack rolls with this weapon targeting creatures with the frightened condition.

If you have at least 10 levels in the paladin class, you gain the following aura in addition to any active paladin auras you normally gain:

Aura of Unbelief. The weapon's appearance has the magical property of inciting doubt within even the most devout and timeless beings. Any creatures normally immune to the frightened condition within 10 ft. of you (including yourself and allies) lose this immunity and instead make saving throws with advantage in response to any effect that applies the frightened condition. This property only affects creatures with a level or challenge rating less than or equal to your paladin level.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Advantage: Melee Attacks, Proficiency: Intimidation, Expertise: Intimidation, Advantage: Saving Throws, paladin, Damage, Control, Debuff, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
