Weapon (crossbow, hand), artifact

This Arcane Revolver functions as an Arcane Focus for any spell with a distance equal to 5 feet or greater, and sets the range of spells cast through the revolver to 60 feet.

As a bonus action, you can load the arcane revolver with 1 charge, that deal 1d8 force damage (instead of the normal 1d6). The revolver holds up to 6 charges at a time.

This weapon has additional features that you can use, and any of them can be used in combination (as long as the action economy allows it).

Empowered Shot: When you expend a charge to fire the arcane revolver, you can choose to expend one spell slot (before knowing if the attack hits or misses) to add extra force damage to the attack, in addition to the weapon's damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d8 for each Spell Level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d8.

Quick Shot: As a Bonus Action you can make a shot with this Arcane Revolver at disadvantage.

Steady Shot: As a Bonus Action, you can aim at a target, giving you advantage on the next attack you make with the weapon.

Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Ranged Weapon Attack: Force, Ignore Weapon Property: Loading, Ammunition, Light, Loading, Range, Vex
