The Air Guardian was the weapon of the high master of the North Wind Monastery. He taught several monks using the power of this staff added to the graciousness of the Aarakocra dance. For decades, the monk master passed his knowledge, until the day he died. With his dead, the Air Guardian was throwed in the infinite skies of the Elemental Plane of Air.
The staff was lost for centuries, until a air genasi called Sun An find it. When he touched the staff, all the knowledge was passed to him, and the young genasi became one new Air Guardian. He went to the Material Plane to teach the art of the old monk for the humankind, an he did so, until the attack of Vakroki, a adult white dragon who killed all his pupils. The staff was lost, but not forever.
The Air Guardian is a magical quarterstaff that grants you a +2 to attack and damage rolls made with it.
Random Properties. The Air Guardian has the following random properties:
• 1 minor beneficial properties
• 1 major beneficial properties
Increased Wisdom. While attuned with the Air Guardian, your Wisdom score increases by 2, to a maximum of 24.
Spells. The staff has 10 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your ki save DC: feather fall (1 charge), gust of wind (2 charges), or wind wall (4 charges). You also learn the cantrip gust.
The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff slowly becomes wind and disappears forever.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
