Armor (studded leather), very rare (requires attunement by a By a Druid. To attune, you must be wearing the armor and be hit by a fire based attack which will awaken the armor.)

This +2 leather armor was created from the hide of a red drake. it is studded with "cremation diamonds" which are forged from the ashes of living beings through pressure treatment in dwarven forges. It was created as a symbol of life from the ashes of the past. When awakened, veins of fire glow over the armor.

The Armor can be upgraded with treatment from three different types of fire. Normal, Magical, and Draconic. These upgrades stack.

The normal treatment is to set the armor into a natural source: Magma. The armor can either be laid into the Magma or have it poured over it. The treatment causes the armor to gain +2 to Armor Class. In addition, twice per day, when hit by a melee attack, the wearer may use a reaction command to burn the assailant for 3d8 fire damage.

The Magical Treatment must be completed by a Fire elemental or another living Magical Flame where they will imbue the armor with their power. Once per day, the wearer can use a reaction to absorb a fire based attack. They can then choose to absorb all of the damage and restore it as health or they can release the absorbed damage as an explosion around them for a radius of 15 ft. The explosion does half of amount of absorbed damage to all hostile creatures who do not make a save of DC16. if they save, they take half of that damage. Any friendly creatures nearby gain half of the absorbed damage as health.

The Draconic Treatment must be granted by a Dragon capable of producing flame breath. The dragon must use it's flame breathe on the armor, giving it the enchantment. The breath unlocks the draconic essence dormant in the armor and grants the wearer the ability to create a pair of fiery draconic wings, granting the wearer a flying speed of 45ft. The wings can be used for a total of 3 hours each day.
-While using this ability, once per day, the user may make a diving attack. Upon landing, their wings burst out in a 10ft radius around them, dealing 4d6 fire damage to any creatures that do not make a DC16 saving throw. any creatures that make the save take half damage.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.

Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, By a Druid. To attune, you must be wearing the armor and be hit by a fire based attack which will awaken the armor.
