Augmented Canon

An augmented canon is a tiny ranged weapon that an Artificer with the Armorer specialty can affix to their Power Armor.

The artificer can use an action, provided they are wearing their power armor, to produce one of the following affects from the canon:

• 15-foot cone of fire, DC 13 DEX save for half, 4d6 fire damage
• Cloud of acid in squares adjacent to user, DC 13 CON save for half, 3d6 acid damage to all creatures in area

Each time the artificer uses this ability they roll a d10 and add the number of times they have used the ability since their last long rest. If the total is 11 or higher the canon malfunctions based on the chosen action and the canon cannot be used again until the artificer finishes a long rest and tinkers with the canon to repair it.

• Fire: The canon overheats the artificer's power armor; the wearer takes 4d6 fire damage.
• Acid: The canon bursts a connection spraying acid into the armor; the wearer takes 3d6 acid damage
