Auril's Promise, the Winter Creator, is an ancient long sword fashioned by Auril, the Frostmaiden. Auril's Promise is frigid to the touch and wreathed in mist.
You are immune to cold damage while holding Auril's promise. Whenever it deals damage to a creature, the sword radiates a burst of intense cold in a 30-foot-radius sphere. Each creature in that area takes 10 (3d6) cold damage.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
