This golden arrow does 1d10 piercing damage, plus any modifier added by bow or bowman. When it deals a killing hit, the target turns into many small gold discs, not unlike coins, although they do not have any inscriptions on them. (The target must have been a living creature) Any force exerted on the mass of coins causes them to collapse into a pile on the floor.
The arrow cannot be recovered afterwards, as it too turns into coins. However, the arrow can be recovered if it was not used to deal a killing hit, or if it had missed it's target. The amount of coins generated by the dead creature is dependent on it's size. Human-sized creatures would yield about 300-500 coins. The DM can decide how many coins you get.
Each coin equals 1 gold piece.
Notes: Combat, Consumable, transmutation
