You gain a +3 bonus to attack and + 6 bonus to damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage.
When you attack a creature with this weapon and roll a 19 on the attack roll, you can cut off one of the creature's limbs; If you roll a 20 you can cut the creature in half or cut off its head. The creature dies if it can't survive being cut in half or without the lost head. A creature is immune to this effect if it has legendary actions, or the GM decides that the creature is too big for its head to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d8 slashing damage from the hit.
Additionally, you can focus your senses as an action to magically discern the distance and direction to the closest dragon within 30 miles of you. This special action can't be used again until the next dawn.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
