A beautifully crafted splint mail armor from the Age of Arcanum. A layer of metal scales forms a tabard on top of the armor's protective layer.
The scales gleam slightly during the day and begin to darken during the nighttime.
If you look closely at the metal scales you can see that words are engraved all over them. The scales tell the story of what the wearers of the armor have experienced whilst wearing it.
The Armor initially belonged to a beloved priest of the Dawnfather: Balthasar the gentle, a wandering priest from Vasselheim.
The armor passed on to many champions of Exandria. Their journeys are inscribed on the scales. If all scales have been read once and the armor is turned around the words on the scales will change. The story will continue and you can switch sides to continue to read up to the current point in time.
The story of the armor will continue to inscribe itself while the armor is worn.
Through the times this item had been lost often and resurfaced only to good-aligned heroes, that would prove worthy of its holy mission: To protect those who can't protect themselves and to bring the warm light of dawn to the darkest places.
The armor has last been seen during the attack of the Chroma Conclave on Emon.
The armor will not get dirty and is lighter than its nonmagical counterpart.
You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this magic armor.
This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Combat, Warding, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
