You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.
The armor has a number of charges equal to your proficiency bonus. As a reaction, you can expend one charge to cast the Absorb Elements spell picking the damage type radiant, cold, or poison. The armor regains all charges daily at midnight.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
