Attuning to this amulet grants the wearer nine lives. Each death gradually transforms the user into a common household cat.
When you die, you spend one turn reviving at half health and roll a d8 to select which body part gets transformed.

When a limb transforms, you receive a penalty, which gets worse for that limb once it is affected again.
Arms: First penalty, you no longer receive proficiency bonus with weapons. Second, you attack with disadvantage with that limb.
Legs: First penalty, you lose 5 feet of movement. Second, you lose 5 feet of movement once again.
Upon the ninth death, you are transformed into a common household cat and this curse may never be reversed.
