This black katana was once confused for a corrupted flame tongue but upon further use and inspection the former wielders all came to realize that anything cut with the blade will continue to burn until nothing is left. The only counter to this is the sheathing of the blade or the currently attuned user wills it. Users also noticed any creatures killed by the blade couldn't be brought back to life with anything short of a 9th lv spell such as wish as there body and soul were both burned out of existence.
