Armor of Roses and Hooves

This armor, a leather breastplate that covers the neck and arms, inlaid with the stitched forms of forest animals and roses, was found sitting on a stump in an ancient grove outside Phandalin. While worn, the armor provides a +2 to AC and a +2 to all Dexterity checks. 

Intense study of the armor reveals something in the stitches - a name, Rulasad - perhaps the former owner? If so, what happened to them? 

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
