This copper amulet contains a reinforced setting supporting a catalyst made from extra-planar material. During planar travel, it shunts some of the stress from the wearer into the catalyst, preventing the worst of the side effects.

When making a saving throw while traveling through a planar portal, you can forgo rolling the d20 to get a 10 on the die. Once used, this property can’t be used again until the next dawn.

If you would fail the save, you may exhaust the power of the amulet to automatically pass the save. If you do so, the amulet ceases all functions until the catalyst is replaced, which uses 25 gp worth of material.
