This item cannot be removed by any means without destroying the body of the wearer. It cannot be removed via physical or magical means. The wearer no longer requires regular biological functions to survive such as eating and sleeping. The wearer of this armor must become or be chaotic evil nature, or lawful evil [The lawful nature must be in regards to the law of demons].
The armor has no solid appearance and is permanently shrouded in physical shadows, it appears to suck the natural light out of its surroundings making the entire space in a 5.ft radius around the wearer darkness and dim light a further 5.ft more. These physical shadows act as appendages which can extend infinitely in darkness and shadow. While wearing the armor the user gains +3 AC and resistance to necrotic and poison damage, but becomes weak to radiant damage.
The wearer may use the shadow appendages to act in any way that their hands may, these appendages may also act on their own accord to defend the wearer from attacks. Once per direction (north, south, east, west, north east, north west, south east, south west), the appendages may completely block an attack from that direction. The appendages are unable however to block an attack with an area of effect. These appendages may vanish if grappled, and can be cut and sliced.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
