Armor of the Stonemason

When hit, this armor turns to stone, subtracting 1 point from ANY attack roll made against the wearer. When not in stone form this armor is made of beautiful copper scales which are connected visually by crosshatched grooves engraved in their surfaces. When struck, the scales seemingly transmute into stone. 

This armor consists of a coat and leggings (and perhaps a separate skirt) of leather covered with overlapping pieces of metal, much like the scales of a fish. The suit includes gauntlets.
