This weapon is a dagger once wielded by Aulus, the Angel of Blades. In a normal-sized mortal's hands, it functions as a +2 Longsword. Attacks made with this weapon deal 1d8 bonus Radiant damage.
This weapon is unnaturally sharp, piercing hide and armor alike. It has the Keen 1 property, dealing a critical strike on a roll of 19-20, and the blade cannot be dulled or damaged by nonmagical means.
Additionally, the longsword contains a measure of the angel's latent might. Once per day as a bonus action, you can gain Angel's Splendor for one minute. While this persists, shining spectral blades whirl around you, granting you +2 AC and dealing 1d8 radiant damage to any creature that strikes you with a melee attack or ends its turn adjacent to you. You can end this effect early as an Action, to cause a blast of radiant light around you. Choose up to 6 creatures within 30 feet of you, and choose for each creature whether it is friend or foe. Foes within the radius must succeed on a DC15 Con save or take 2d8 radiant damage (half on save) (this light counts as Sunlight for the purpose of overcoming resistance). Friends are healed for up to 2d8 hit points. This ability recharges at Dawn each day.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
