Wondrous Item, common
A piece of carved gemstone engraved with arcane symbols that seem to faintly glow when exposed to darkness or direct sunlight. This is the default ammunition used for rifles, pistols, or any other firearm with the "Ammunition: Magazine" tag in its description. A magazine is much larger than a cartridge, and much smaller than a drum.
- This item has 1 charge, which is automatically expended when the firearm is fired a number of times equal to its reload value (listed in the item's statblock).
- This ammunition makes damage rolls for the firearm to count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
- Once this item's charge has been expended, it can be restored be expending a 2nd level spellslot or by performing a magical ritual which costs 15gp. Either method requires at least an hour to perform and can be done during a short rest.
