A piece of carved gemstone engraved with arcane symbols that seem to glow when exposed to darkness and direct light. This is the default ammunition used for revolvers, revolver rifles, double barrel shotguns and any other firearm with the "Ammunition: Cartridge" tag in its description. A cartridge is slightly larger than a shard, and nearly a quarter of the size of a magazine.

• This ammunition allows damage rolls for the firearm to count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
• Once this item's charge has been expended, it can be restored be expending a 2nd level spellslot or by performing a magical ritual costs 10gp. Either method requires at least an hour to perform.
