This magical shortsword gives your attacks some attitude. Every time that you make an attack with this weapon it will force you to use your bonus action to make a second attack with it. This attack will not add your proficiency bonus to hit but you will gain +5 damage on a hit with this attack. When you are wielding this weapon and a creature deals damage to you, this sword flys up to 60 feet towards the attacker and will hit that creature if it is in range. You may use your reaction to instantly recall the sword to your hand at any time.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
