This Shield is made of mythril with a large nearly perfect emerald at its center. The gem faintly glows and if you peer into its depths, you can see a beating heart in each of its 101 facets. The shield is polished to a mirror finish and nothing will tarnish its finish. It is part of a six piece set that when combined becomes something known only as the Alpha Omega. Aegis confers a +3 bonus to the constitution score while granting immunity to petrification. The Shield is treated as a handaxe for the purposes of bashing and throwing it. It has the return property, it automatically comes back to the thrower after hitting/missing its target. You can expend up to 2 charges per round to target up to 2 additional creatures/objects. Each additional target must be within 10 feet of the previous one.
