Amulet of the Siren (Dormant)

This Mithral filligree amulet is filled with a crimson jeweled heart, known only as The Amulet of The Siren it is believed to have been found deep beneath the waves of Blightshore. Have the regions chaotic magical energies transformed this simple necklace? Or has some powerful entity long lost to the history books bequeathed its power into a beacon of great evil or vestige for good that depends on the will and fortitude of its bearer. 

Dormant

While wearing the amulet in their dormant state, light and dark hold no sway over you as you embody both aspects of the duality of good and evil . You and one creature of your choice you can touch are granted  the ability to see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 60 feet (or an additional 30ft if you can already see in such conditions) This effect lasts for 1 minute or if you are incapacitated.

As an action you can cast Mage Armor on yourself at will, without expending a spell slot or material components.

In addition you can entreat the Siren to come to your aid.

• As a bonus action, you can cast the Spirit Guardians spell  from the Amulet.  To cast the spell you must sacrifice your life force take 1d6 radiant damage depending on the level of the spell cast. For every level above 3rd level you must sacrifice a further 1d6 hit point per spell level. .
