Armor of the Immortal Yew

This armor was made by an Ancient Yew-bark Treefolk named Doran, who felt such a strong compulsion to protect the new saplings, that he shed his outer layer of bark to serve as a suit of armor for them. It's made entirely of the bark of an Ancient and Powerful Yew Treefolk, and it carries with it a fragment of the power held by Doran.

You gain a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this magic armor.

Warded Against Death: If you would be reduced to 0 hitpoints while wearing this armor, you can use your reaction to instead be reduced to 1 hitpoint. You can use this ability once per long rest.

Life of the Yew: When you begin your turn with less than half of your maximum hitpoints and have at least 1 hitpoint remaining, you regain an amount of hitpoints equal to your wisdom modifier.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
