Amulet of Power Exchange

This amulet is a silver locket about two inches across. Both the front and the inside of this locket are finely engraved with necrotic symbols. A deep violet gem, that seems to be filled with a swirling mist, is set on the inside of the locket but extends out of the front through a hole in the front.

While this amulet is on your person, you can use an action to speak its command word (Kahzan) and regain one expended spell slot up to the 3rd level. Each time the amulet is used the wearer takes a point of exhaustion.
