When you make an attack roll with this weapon, you can expend up to 3 charges to increase its range and deal additional damage. The range increases by 10 feet and the damage increases by 1 die of the weapon's normal damage per expended charge. The number of charges the weapon has determines the additional radiant damage it deals. When the weapon reaches 0 charges, it stops dealing extra radiant damage until it regains all expended charges.
