The head of this two-handed spiked maul is shaped like a dragon and while some weapons are said to whisper to their wielders, Aloren will yell at you when it so wishes.
Once attuned to this weapon, you gain the following:
- You gain +1 to attack rolls and damage with this weapon
- As a bonus action, you can attack with the tail end of the weapon doing 1d4+Strength modifier bludgeoning damage on hit. On a critical hit, the creature is knocked down if it is your size or smaller
- You have advantage on Constitution saving throws that you make to maintain your concentration on a spell when you take damage.
- You can cast spells while enraged
- You can use Aloren as your spellfocus
Proficiency with a Maul allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Replace Damage Type: Piercing, Bonus: Magic, Heavy, Two-Handed, Topple
