Wondrous Item, uncommon
This curious magnifying glass has a lens made of moderately translucent quartz, making it useless as a mundane tool. However, when the elvish phrase engraved on the silver band that holds the lens ("Show me what there is to know") is spoken aloud, the identify spell is cast. The handle has a single valuable pearl set in it, but there are 6 more indentations where additional pearls could be set in place.
In its present form, the appraisers' loupe can be used 1/week, and regains its charge 7 days after it was used.
Notes: If more pearls are added to the handle, the spell could be cast more often.
