Created by Anton Spark the automatic crossbow removes the need to reload after every shot. While it still has some issues the benefits outweigh them.
The chamber of the Automatic Crossbow acts as a +1 LIght Crossbow and holds 4 shots. It takes a bonus action to reload the bolts.
On a "20" the Automatic Crossbow magically creates a new bolt and fires again.
On a "1" the Automatic Crossbow misfires and jams. It takes a Bonus Action to clear the jam.
Damage: 1d8 Piercing
Properties: Loading, Range, Two-Handed
Range: 80/320
Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
