You can use an action to sound an elk's cry, calling for aid from guardians of nature. In response, 3d4+3 guardian nature spirits appear within 30 feet of you. They use the statistics of a Giant Elk. They return to their rest after 1 hour or when they drop to 0 hit points. Once you use the skull, it can't be used again until 7 days have passed.
If you sound the cry without having the animal handling proficiency, the summoned Elks either attack you, or ignore your summons. If you meet the requirement, they are friendly to you and your companions and follow your commands.
