This +2 armor is a dark black color while unattuned. After a character becomes attuned to the armor, it will gradually lighten to a shining gold or silver (chosen by the player/character) with good deeds performed by the character.
The armor grants a Boon of Redemption once per day of the ability of imposing disadvantage on an attack made against the character (recharging at dawn). This ability increases by an additional instance per day every three levels of advancement by the character. This ability is negated for the day (or the next day, if it has already been used at all on the current day) if the character performs an evil or even questionable deed. In such case, the armor becomes tarnished, darkening to show the character's misdeed(s) to all that see it.
The use of a Boon of Redemption can be announced before or after the attack roll, but before damage is calculated.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, By character of a class that allows Heavy Armor (not granted by a Feat) and of Good alignment, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
