Weapon (glaive), rare (requires attunement by a user proficient with martial weapons, as well as a week of special training to perfect the special abilities.)

Description

This slender glaive has a long haft made out of black walnut and is topped with a long single-edged blade.
The haft curves upward just slightly over it's length and is surprisingly light considering its sturdy construction.
The blade is sunk deep into the haft, and is elegantly curved up to a needle-sharp point. There are elven runes etched along the top of the blade.

"Live, Laugh, Lacerate."

Effects:

This glaive is a +1 magical weapon of Elven make. It never dulls and it fits to your hand like it was made just for you.
It also has the following abilities:

Abilities:

Dedicated Followthrough:
Every successful attack imparts a stacking +1 to piercing damage on subsequent attacks.
Failing to make an attack, changing targets, or missing an attack resets all stacks to zero.
The maximum amount of stacks is always equal to your character level.
Windlash:
When you crit with an attack, you may take a 5 foot step and make an attack against a different opponent within range as a free action, using the butt of the weapon. (This attack does 1d8 bludgeoning damage.)
This does not invoke an attack of opportunity, does not deal bonus damage from Followthrough, and does not effect the stacks in any way.
The Way is Closed:
You can set your glaive to receive a charge.
As a bonus action, choose a creature you can see that is at least 20 feet away from you. If that creature moves within your reach on its next turn, you can make a melee attack against it as a reaction. If the attack hits, the target takes an extra 1d8 piercing damage.
You can’t use this ability if the creature used the Disengage action before moving.

Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Bludgeoning, user proficient with martial weapons, as well as a week of special training to perfect the special abilities., Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze
