You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit a fiend or an undead with it, that creature takes an extra 2d10 radiant damage.
While you hold the claws, it creates an aura in a 10-foot radius around you. You and all creatures friendly to you in the aura have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. If you have good alignment party members with you, the radius of the aura increases to 20 feet.
- While using these clawed gauntlets, you cannot use any other weapon (ranged or melee). Improvised weapons are useable with some difficulty.
- Your unarmed melee damage is a 1d10 + STR
- You gain the ability to use Rage of Xiao Long 2 times a day
Rage of Xiao Long
In battle, you fight with primal ferocity. On your turn, you can enter a rage as a bonus action.
While raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren’t wearing heavy armor:
- You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
- When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a bonus to the damage roll that increases as you gain levels as a barbarian, as shown in the Rage Damage column of the Barbarian table.
- You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- The damage that you don't receive gets transferred and stored to the gauntlets to be used on your enemies.
- Up to 20 points (maximum) of bonus damage can be stored in this way during each round of combat.
- Each gauntlet can only channel 10 points of bonus damage into an unarmed melee attack. Bonus damage being channelled into an attack needed to be declared before attacking. If the attack misses the bonus damage is lost.
- Any bonus damage points not used at the end of your turn are lost but will begin to be recollected during the next round of combat
- While raging your unarmed melee does 1d10 + STR damage0
If you are able to cast spells, you can’t cast them or concentrate on them while raging.
Your rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven’t attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action.
These matte black, steel alloy, claw tipped, gauntlets were made to emulate and inspired by a legendary huntress. When using Rage of Xiao Long, your eyes glow red (if any) and your hair (if any) glows yellow.
Proficiency with a War Pick allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
