Aloe Vera from the canyon can be very nourishing and even medicinal when manufactured.
Use this salve on burns to restore hit points equal to 1d8 + your Constitution modifier. (Only heals hit points equal fire damage taken)
There are many types of aloe, and not all contain healing properties, in fact some can be fatally poisonous. Good luck on those survival and nature checks!
