A sword to a bard in the College of Swords is just as important as an instrument is to other bards. For this reason the Sword College came together to create a bardic sword. A creature that attempts to flourish the sword without being attuned to it must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 2d4 psychic damage.
You can use an action to flourish Amaze and cast one of its spells: Fly, Invisibility, Levitate, Protection from Evil and Good, Barkskin, Cure Wounds, Fog Cloud. Once the sword has been used to cast a spell, it can’t be used to cast that spell again until the next dawn. The spells use your spellcasting ability and spell save DC.
You can flourish the sword while casting a spell that causes any of its targets to be charmed on a failed saving throw, thereby imposing disadvantage on the save. This effect applies only if the spell has a somatic or a material component.
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Piercing, Can only cast each spell once, Bard, Finesse, Vex
