Your arcane Glider grants you the ability of propelled flight using the technology researched and developed by none other than Jeremy Bunson. Like with many of his tools, one must gain a familiarity with its operation to truly gain mastery over it.
At base level The gliders can be used in both non- combat and combat situations and allows the rider to propel them 50 feet horizontally and can move one position of high ground, middle ground and low ground (will be marked in combat as HG, MG, LG). Advantage is given to any creature that is attacking a foe on a level lower than the one you are currently on but you will remain on the level you attacked leaving you more vulnerable.
At lower levels attacks from the glider can be made but come with some risks. After any attack the player must succeed on an athletics saving throw or will be propelled one level lower on the combat map (HG to MG to LG).
Speed boost
starting at 10th level the players may make an additional 25 feet of movement if they decide to lower themselves a combat layer .
Barrel Roll
Starting at 11th level the riders have gained a familiarity with their gliders and can move more agilely and can preform evasive maneuvers. when in arial combat if on the same combat plane or higher than the attacking foe the rider may gain advantage against any ranged attack as a reaction.
Dive Bomb
Starting at 13th level the rider has gained not only proficient skill in flight but arial combat. If attacking an opponent 2 levels below them the rider may choose to dive 2 levels towards them and add an additional +6 to any combat check made that turn. Flight mastery At Level 15 the rider has gained a true grip of all aspects of aerial combat and no longer needs to make stability checks after an attack whilst in flight.
