This mighty lance was forged by Blaiddyd, the first king of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and the first in the bloodline to obtain the Crest of Blaiddyd. Each of the eldest sons of the King would also have this crest. This lance's blade comes from the bones of the original Dragon who ruled over the land, Areadbar. Only those who have the Crest of Blaiddyd can wield the Lance. Those who try without the Crest turn into a horrid monster as their life is quickly drained. The Lance has a red blood-like glow around it when used in combat. The most current wielder is the former Prince Dimitri.
Proficiency with a Lance allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it. A Lance requires two hands to wield when you aren't mounted.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
