Staff (quarterstaff), very rare (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by a magic user)

Roughly 6 feet long, this staff appears to be fashioned from a thin, stony stalactite which glistens with moisture and has a ball-like head composed of glittery mica. Although it appears heavy and unwieldy, it's actually dry, cool to the touch, and quite light.

Once attuned, the staff counts as a +1 quarterstaff.

The staff has 21 charges that can be used to power the spells listed below at their listed costs. Casting spells takes an action, use your spell save DC and spell attack bonus when applicable:

Blade ward (1 charge), passwall (5 charges), stone shape (4 charges), or wall of stone (5 charges)

It regains 1d6+1 charges after a long rest if allowed to remain in contact with a stony surface for the duration, but cannot go above 21 charges. If the last charge is expended, roll 1d20;

On a 1, regain 1d6+1 charges. On a 2-4, becomes inert for a 48 hours. On a 20, the staff crumbles into worthless gravel.

Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
