This dark leathered scabbard is made from the hide of a cloaker. This hide imbues the scabbard with an inexplicable ability to blend into darkness, while hidden within tall boots or under a cloak this scabbard, along with any dagger sheathed in it, are obscured from sight, adding +5 to any DC to detect the weapon.

In addition, a mechanical receptacle is built into the tip of this scabbard, when a vial of poison is inserted into it a creature can use a bonus action to infuse a dagger placed into the scabbard with a dose of the poison from the vial. This prevents any risk to the wielder of accidentally harming themselves with contact from the poison, unless they decide to harm themselves with the blade that is.
