Alectrion

This tiny clockwork rooster is completely inert while not attuned, except that it will always try to stand upright in whatever location it is placed. Also it will always attempt to face one eye toward the location the sun rises in, and one eye where it sets. When attuned this clockwork will attempt to follow the attuned creature with it's walking speed or it's flying speed. The Alectrion can sense it's attuned owner's location within 5 miles. If the attuned owner leaves this radius attunement is lost. While it is attuned, whenever the Alectrion first detects sunlight, whether from the sun, or a spell that replicates sunlight, it will call in a rooster like manner for the next 5 minutes or until the attuned owner speaks the command word. This effect resets once the Alectrion is no longer exposed to any sunlight.

The Alectrion uses the stats of a Raven, but is considered a construct, does not have the mimicry trait, understands common, but doesn't speak, has an Intelligence score of 3 and a Charisma score of 1, is immune to poison damage, and is immune to the charmed, exhaustion, frightened, paralyzed, petrified, and poisoned conditions. If destroyed a sunstone worth about 5gp can be found where a real bird's heart would be, but otherwise the remains and mundane and nearly worthless.
