Despite covering the entirety of the upper body excluding the head and hands, this +2 studded leather apron is breathable, flexible, and adjust to the users body and needs. But this comfort is not immediate. Anyone freaky enough to wear a leather body suit KNOWS you don't wear it for comfort. But this magical apron becomes more comfortable with time, becoming as light and comfortable as the finest fabrics upon attunement.
Enchanted for the master artificer, he novice calligrapher, and everyone in between, this armor grants the following boons:
- The attuned user is granted resistance to fire and acid damage, thanks to the magically fortified leather.
- Located in the cuffs, only visible on the outside with a DC 21 investigation check, are magically expanded (a la Bag of Holding) holsters for the tools of the user.
- Regardless of the two tools equipped to the apron, the cuffs magically stabilize the attuned user's hands to better perform the task, granting a +5 bonus to any roll made with the equipped tools.
- Tools may be easily equipped and unequipped to the cuffs using an action.
- As a reaction, the attuned user may cast Shield twice per day without expending a spell slot. This ability resets at each dawn
- This armor, being as comfortable as the finest silk shirt, may be worn while asleep (or meditating you're an.... elf......) and no penalty will incur.
- Finally, and most importantly, this armor grants the user the ability to reduce the amount of resources, gold, and time to enchant/build a magical object. The outcome of a flat d20 determines how much the apron's magic aids you.
- on a 10-15, the amount of time and resources is reduced by 1/4
- on a 15-19, the amount of time and resources is reduced by 1/2
- on a natural 20, the amount of time and resources is reduced by 3/4
Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Resistance: Acid, Resistance: Fire, one devoted to their craft, Combat, Warding
