A worn, silver chain as thick as human’s thumb holds an amulet of a dark ruby encased by similar looking silver. The amulet is accompanied by an identical brooch. The chain is held together by a clasp, that after attunement, appears like the rest of the chain.
The amulet allows the wearer to escape death. Should the wear be struck down and killed, their form and all their items turn into mist and begin to travel in the direction of the brooch. If the wearer (in most form) can travel to the brooch’s location before the next sunrise, the wearer will be resurrected over the next 24 hours. The mist travels at dash speed.
The wearer can be truly killed if the amulet if removed from their body or if the brooch is destroyed.
Notes: The wearer must have the amulet for eight straight hours to attune to the magic within.
