Adamantine Tortoise Shell Half Plate

This suit of half-plate is made from adamantine shaped the shell of a giant tortoise. While wearing this armor, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit. Also while wearing this armor, you can withdraw into your armor as an action. Until you emerge, you gain a +4 bonus to AC, and you have advantage on Strength and Constitution saving throws. While in your armor, you are prone, your speed is 0 and can't increase, you have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws, you can't take reactions, and the only action you can take is a bonus action to emerge from your armor.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
