Ackelcite Lantern

Before his adventure into Sky Shard Fenwick had never given more than a thought to ackelcite.  A fairly useless element that artificers had long ago decided not to use, it never occurred to him that it could actually have some unusual uses.  However, after mining some of it with Feday'kin and seeing the handaxe continue to provide a comforting glow, the idea began to take shape in Fenwick's mind that this might prove to be the ultimate light source with how long it lasts.  The key of course being how to use that light without the danger.  

 

By carefully constructing the lantern out of lead, inspired by the lead container that is currently holding the ackelcite, and installing custom extra thick glass panes to let the light through Fenwick has managed to create an everlasting light source.  The ackelcite is firmly held in place on the inside by leaded placeholders.
