Amulet of Inheritance

This arcane amulet possesses the ability to inherit given magical energy. You or a willing creature touching the amulet can expend a Spell Slot to store one Spell Slot of that level in this amulet. This amulet can only hold one Spell Slot of 3rd level or lower at a time. When you cast a spell, if the spell is of an equal or lower level than the Spell slot stored in this amulet, you can use the stored slot to cast the spell instead. When you do, you use the spell save DC, spell attack bonus, and spellcasting ability of the slot's original owner. The slot is then expended, leaving the amulet empty again until refilled.
