The once powerful cult of witches known as Heksen, roamed the countryside seducing young men and women with the promise of power and wealth. The witches were known to pose as wandering druids in order to gain money and new followers. The leader of the Heksen was known for her Technicolor slippers and tales point towards her slippers being corrupted due to her sheer power.
In the early 800's, a band of Blood Hunters tracked the cult to a small cave off of the coast of Draconia and cornered the witches. The exact number of deaths is unknown, but the known casualties include all eight Blood Hunters and the leader. Rumor has it, in her dying breath, she was able to separate the slippers into five pairs imbuing each with a different power.
Only one pair of slippers were recovered, and after being passed around, finally ended up in a small museum located on the southern tip of Elvira's continent in Olyalond. Many have attempted to steal the pair of Silver Slippers, but all have been thwarted by the legion of mages sworn to protect the enchanted items of the museum.
The Agate Slippers have a dull yellow sheen and occasionally pulse brighter when near magical sources.
Notes: one must perform the action of the witch's antagonist and say the following thrice: "Er is geen plek zoals thuis."
