Weapon (trident), legendary (requires attunement)

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you take the Attack action on your turn and make a melee weapon attack with this weapon, you can spend 1 charge to make the attack against a creature you can see within 60 feet of you, rather than one within your normal reach. Anomaly has 7 charges, and regains 1d6+1 expended charges each day at dawn.

Feature Name. When a hostile creature starts its turn within 5 feet of you while you are holding this weapon, you can force it to make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature's speed is halved and it cannot take reactions until the start of its next turn.

Feature Name. As a reaction at the end of another creature's turn, you can stab the trident into the ground, stopping the flow of time for creatures other than yourself within 120 feet of you while you immediately take 1d4 turns in a row, during which you can take actions and move as normal. When this effect ends, you are stunned until the end of your next turn. This effect ends early if you attack or damage another creature or object or force another creature to make a saving throw during this period, or pull the trident from the ground. Once you have used this feature, you cannot do so again for 7 days.

Caveat. The laws of the universe are not casually broken. Each time you use Feature Name, there is a 33 percent chance that you attract the direct ire of the host of axiomata that guard the Mandate Temporal. Tread carefully- the inexorable judgement is not easily swayed.

Proficiency with a Trident allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Thrown, Versatile, Topple
