Created by Fey craftsman in the city of Syngorn out of wood native to the Feygrove area of the city, it is both an instrument and a weapon. At nearly six feet in length the top portion has been crafted into a flute with an amazing range of notes, while the hardwood used in it's construction makes it as formidable as a quarter staff. Although anyone can use the Walking Flute, if the owner has been trained by a bard familiar with the music of the Feywild, or is a trained bard themselves the owner gains 1d6 inspiration ( same as Bardic instiration ) once a day.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Damage, Combat, Versatile, Topple

Posted Jul 12, 2021I love this but had one question and one observation about this part: ”the owner gains 1d6 inspiration (same as Bardic instiration) once a day.”
1. Is it always 1d6, or does it scale up as your Bardic Inspiration scales up? The “(same as Bardic instiration)” makes it unclear.
2. “(same as Bardic instiration)” There’s a t instead of a p in “inspiration” there.
