This katana was originally wielded by Yun'Qi, a master of the element of air from the Yin-Sun monastery in Au Verthitcha. The magic-infused within it allows the wielder to cut through the air faster than any weapon, as the blade itself is composed of the very essence of the air. Ánh Sáng has 3 charges and regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. At the end of your turn, you can expend one charge and put Ánh Sáng into its sheathe, empowering it with the thunderous speed of a storm. While Ánh Sáng is sheathed it has the following special properties:
- The next time you use this weapon to make a melee weapon attack, you unsheathe Ánh Sáng in an incredibly fast attack, granting a +2 bonus to the attack roll. On a hit, you deal 1d8 bonus thunder damage.
- As an action, you can unsheathe Ánh Sáng at such a speed that it sends a shockwave of air out from it. Make a ranged weapon attack with a range of 30/90 ft. On a hit, a creature takes an amount of thunder damage equal to 2d8 + your Dexterity modifier.
- As a reaction, you can unsheathe Ánh Sáng to deflect an attack, adding 2 to your AC against one melee or ranged weapon attack that would hit you. To do so, you must see the attacker.
Additionally, Ánh Sáng has the Finesse property and you have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
