Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a short rest)
Upon magical identification, this appears to be another magical amulet of the DM's choosing. While it is attuned to, the user is cursed to suffer 1d4 force damage whenever they cast a spell that is canceled, bypassed, negated, incorrectly targeted, or otherwise prevented from being carried out as intended. Magical effects that end curses end the curse as well as attunement to the amulet.
