Until getting a closer look any average smith would assume the metal of this armor to be burn. Once touched the armor can easily be identified as the dark rare metal adamantine. The most prominent feature of this half plate is its breastplate. The metal bends into a ribcage with four buckler-esque plates formed into spirals that connect the shoulder plates the rest of the set. On the left side, a plate of metal is attached to protect either the non-dominate side of the user's neck of the side unprotected by the shield. Adamantine plating continues down the side all the way to the toes to avoid the user losing mobility. The armor also includes a spiral mask hiding the melted skin of the user. Most pair this outfit with a Cape of the Mountebank.
While attuned to this armor you gain the following benefits:
- This suit of armor is reinforced with adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. While you're wearing it, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.
- You gain a +3 bonus to AC.
